Frequently Asked Questions about Waitlists & Notifications
What is a Waitlist?
Because our deals are limited time and limited quantity, items will sell out. We work with our suppliers to secure as much as we can for Dvor, but with our deals it just isn't enough to meet demand sometimes! Now with our new waitlist feature, if an item sells out you can join a waitlist for eligible items!![]()
Once you've placed an item on your waitlist, over the next 30 days we'll work as hard as we can to get you that item at the price it was listed at. We'll work with as many suppliers as we can to try and get you that deal. Being on a wait list is no guarantee that you'll end up getting the product – but ultimately we want to make you happy, so we hope to fill as many waitlist orders as possible.
When and how can I join the waitlist for an item?
You can join the waitlist for an item after it has sold out or expired, but before the item has been "expired" for a week. During this time, the Add to Cart button will be replaced with a Join Waitlist button. After the item is no longer be listed on Dvor, you can no longer make a waitlist request for the item.
Are all items eligible for waitlist requests?
Unfortunately some items are not available via waitlist. Our goal is to have as many items available for waitlist requests as possible though!
Do you charge me when I make a waitlist request for an item?
Absolutely not! Just like with a normal order, we will not charge you until the item has been shipped. If we aren't able to fulfill your waitlist request, you'll never be charged.
Please note: PayPal and some banks may place authorization holds or capture funds from your accounts. That's not us – we don't capture any payment until we've fulfilled an order.
How long does a waitlist request last?
Waitlist requests last 30 days. If we can't manage to secure more quantity within 30 days, we'll cancel your waitlist request. We still want you to get a great deal – you'll have the option of working with our sister store OpticsPlanet to receive a limited time deal on a similar product exclusively offered to you.
Where can I find my existing waitlist requests?
You can see your current waitlist requests at any time by visiting your order history. Waitlist requests will start with "waitlist" followed by a number.
Can I cancel a waitlist request?
You can cancel a waitlist request within the first two hours of placing it by selecting the waitlist request in your order history. After the two hour period has passed, you must contact us to cancel your waitlist request. We'll do our best to cancel your waitlist request as quickly as possible.
What are notifications?
Notifications are a way for you to sign up to be notified when a product becomes available on Dvor again. One day before the product is available again, we'll send an email to all those signed up for a notification about that particular product letting them know it will be available the next day. Notifications do not expire until the item has been relisted on Dvor or is cancelled by you.
How do I add a notification?
All you have to do is click the Notify Me button on the product page, and make sure that Product Availability Notifications is turned on in your communication preferences.
Can I remove a notification?
Yes – you can manage your notifications at any time by visiting the communication preferences page. Please note – if you don't have any active notifications, the button to manage your notifications will not be available.
Is signing up for notifications a commitment to buy?
No, it is not. Feel free to sign up for as many notifications as you'd like – there are no limits to the number of active notifications you can have listed at any given time!
I have a question not listed here about waitlists or notifications.
